This person must live in Phoenix, Arizona area and able to commute to Phoenix, Arizona.

You are uber-organized and know how to coordinate projects and ensure that each is delivered with excellence. You are not afraid of a challenge and know that Creative Label’s clients are the core of our business.

You will be joining a growing team of publicists, photographers, developers, designers, copywriters, and more to provide oversight, proactive feedback, and work on our agency’s most valuable contracts. You will overdeliver to ensure our team is tasked at all times with high-value items. As the Account and Project Manager, you are always in the know about what tasks are done, being worked on, and queued up based on what you oversee and our clients are over-communicated with. You will bridge the gap between our expert team members and our clients, helping to translate and provide deliverables for direct activities accordingly. 

You will get intimately familiar and comfortable with our clients and their respective scopes of work and corresponding deliverables and make decisions around this data to influence our roadmap and the work we provide for them. You’ll be available to discuss this data with a client and our internal team as needed. Your involvement in the data will be a crucial component of ensuring we’re always looking out for our clients’ best interests from the initial pitch call, to kick off and monthly services, to the ongoing changes month over month.

You should be methodical and have excellent time management skills. As an Account and Project Manager, you should also use your communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and clients.

A bit more about this role:

Depending on where you are located geographically, this role can be either work-from-home or in-person collaboration. You must also have a reliable laptop computer as we will not provide one.

The time commitment requires no less than 20 hours per week. This is a part-time position, working side-by-side with Creative Label’s Project Manager, Amanda Wade (while also working closely with other key members of the team).

We’ll be straight with you: This position has high expectations. But if you’re the person we’re looking for, you’re the type who gets motivated by high expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the onboarding of all new client
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters
  • Run and coordinate kickoff calls with our clients and run and coordinate kick-off calls, critical milestone meetings, providing consolidated feedback to the team
  • Translate client priorities and expectations clearly across internal development teams
  • Clearly communicate the progress to internal and external stakeholders as well as the team to ensure all members are on board with delegated tasks
  • Prepare reports on client accounts, team performance
  • Seek opportunities for improvement in our process and work with internal departments to streamline processes for more efficient executions
  • Highlight potential risks or malfunctions and act proactively to resolve issues
  • Assist with client requests or issue escalations and act as the escalate point for potential project issues and delays
  • Manage the project scope and lead scope escalation meetings
  • Provide end-to-end project management
  • Understand scope project requirements, prepare budgets and mitigate scope creeping by helping clients understand what’s included and not included in their services
  • Ensure the timely, high quality, and successful delivery of our services according to clients needs, deadlines and within the scope and within budget
  • Independently create and manage project timelines to provide an accurate picture of project resourcing needs
  • Ensure new projects fit within our timelines.
  • Allocate design and content resources based on need, availability, skill, and project schedule to maximize resource utilization and ensure project profitability
  • Organize files and archive project assets, artifacts, and related project documentation.
  • Encourage positive team morale throughout the project, especially during and after difficult situations.
  • Be a role model for and promote integrity in all endeavors
  • Lead the cross-functional team in problem-solving, be solutions-oriented, ask perceptive questions and seek creative solutions when problems arise.

  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Proven work experience as a project manager (2 years+)
  • Preferred past agency experience 
  • Hands-on experience with project management software ClickUp 
  • Solid technical background with an ability to address accessibility and compatibility issues
  • Excellent with collaboration, time management and team management 
  • Strong sense of ownership/leadership, and follow-through
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage, prioritize and multi-task multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organization and documentation skills 
  • Goal-oriented
  • Commitment to excellent customer service and ability to create excitement and a strong sense of urgency when working with new clients

  • You own and run your own consulting business providing any of the following: branding, marketing or public relations 
  • Have aspirations of running your own digital consulting agency
  • You’re looking for a side job while growing your own business
  • You have a lot going on already and don’t really have the time to focus or really dive in
  • You have not read a non-fiction book (or listen to a podcast) about personal development or business in a very long time
  • You aren’t willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement
