Position Overview

Creative Label is looking for a talented Social Media Manager for our digital consulting agency to work in our fun, fast-paced (currently work from home because of COVID) environment.

We are looking for a qualified Social Media Manager to join our team. The Social Media Manager is responsible for all of our client’s social media accounts. You will be responsible for the day-to-day of running accounts’ social channels, monitoring project process, ensuring timelines and deadlines are met, and communicating project progress back to our project manager. 

As the Social Media Manager, you will lead the organization’s social strategy and execution of Creative Label’s client accounts. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing a brand’s social media identity, planning and executing all aspects of social across channels, has strong copywriting skills, a creative eye, and a desire to learn and grow with the rapidly changing social media landscape.

The Social Media Manager will develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with and supports each clients’ brand. Responsibilities include community growth and care, development and execution of social strategy, and reporting on performance and analytics to inform decision making. Reporting to the Project Manager and each account lead will ensure social media strategies align with branding and messaging objectives.

For this position, we expect you to be up on trend, social media-savvy, and professional with an in-depth understanding of how social media can help us achieve our clients’ overall goals. You should be methodical and have excellent time management skills. As a Social Media Manager, you should also use your communication skills to collaborate effectively with various accounts and teams.

A bit more about this role:

This role is a mix of work-from-home as well as in-person collaboration. You must have reliable transportation and be able to commute within Phoenix, Arizona. You must also have a reliable laptop computer as we will not provide one.

This is a FULL TIME position, working side-by-side with Creative Label co-founder, Aisha Marshall (while also working closely with other key members of the team).

We’ll be straight with you: This position has high expectations. But if you’re the person we’re looking for, you’re the type who gets motivated by high expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Recording meetings and take notes during client calls and make recommendations based on goals and needs
  • Develop the social content calendar and submit monthly for approval
  • Oversee social media management for our client’s accounts and lead any troubleshooting 
  • Notify all accounts when Instagram is down 
  • On a per-campaign basis, you will be responsible for gathering analytics and reporting (social captures, pageviews, campaign highlights) from internal teams for wrap reports upon campaign completion.
  • Coordinate with each account lead on corresponding campaigns, launches, and account objectives to ensure they’re communicated through social media effectively 
  • Track social live links across all campaigns ensuring they go live as scheduled + performing optimally 
  • Creatively think of and implement community growth strategies
  • Creatively think of and work with the Content Creation Department on content strategies 
  • Engagement on each social media account  
  • Compile with weekly analysis to ensure progress is made towards goal numbers
  • Drafting caption copy 
  • Scheduling content to run across all platforms a month in advance
  • Creating client briefs at the onboarding of each account and tracking and providing an analytic report to clients every month

Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Proven work experience as a Digital Media or Social Media Manager
  • Hands-on experience with analytic and scheduling software.
  • Understanding of social media analytics and the relationship between content and metrics delivering detailed reports in each team meeting and monthly to each account
  • Must be able to lead the content creation/scheduling team, providing strategic direction, process improvement, and strive to work on improved communication
  • Must be a player and a coach to execute across social media channels
  • Align with social account managers and associates to develop and successfully execute content strategy, creation processes, and performance reporting
  • Solid social media background with an ability to forecast and adapt to new trends and features
  • Excellent with client-facing, collaboration, time management, and team management 
  • Strong sense of ownership/leadership, and follow-through
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a very strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage, prioritize and multi-task multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organization and documentation skills

  • You own and run your own consulting business providing any of the following: branding, social media management, marketing or public relations 
  • Have aspirations of running your own digital consulting agency
  • You’re looking for a side job while growing your own business
  • You have a lot going on already and don’t really have the time to focus or really dive in
  • You have not read a non-fiction book (or listen to a podcast) about personal development or business in a very long time
  • You aren’t willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement
